- Students accepted into SRS/TRIO program
- Single parents with full or joint custody of their minor children

What Types of Services are Available?
- Positive Opportunities for Parenting Solo: The purpose of POPS is to foster personal and educational growth through mentoring, networking, community service and lifelong relationships.
- Agency Referrals: Advisors and counselors in SPHS assist students to locate services not available through the program.
- Workshops/Conferences: Workshops and conferences are provided throughout the year on topics such as: résumé writing, interviewing, math anxiety, parenting, and budgeting.
- Book Lending Program: The program loans text books to student participants who demonstrate financial need. Participant eligibility requirements are as follows
- Must have applied and completed financial aid process
- Must be a current and active SRS/SPH student participant
- Must be approved by the SRS/SPH Review Committee
- Must be enrolled for 4.5 credit hours or more
